Questions about smart cash drawers
Does it work with my POS software?
With Glop, BDP and Sysme, yes, and those are the ones we install. With other programs it depends on whether they have the drawer manufacturer's connector; we check before quoting.
What if a note jams?
The drawer warns on screen, the cassette opens with a key or code and you keep charging by card or with a backup drawer in the meantime. With a maintenance plan we log in remotely or come to the venue.
How much space does it need?
Compact models fit under or beside the POS, on the counter itself. The large ones, with note recycling, need their own cabinet or space. We measure on the visit.
Does it pay for itself?
It depends on the cash you handle. Where it shows most is in businesses with several shifts and frequent discrepancies, or where one person serves and charges at the same time. On the visit we do the sums with your real figures.
