Questions about VeriFactu
What is VeriFactu and does it affect me?
It's the verifiable-invoicing system of Spanish Royal Decree 1007/2023: invoicing software must record every receipt and invoice in a chained way that the tax office can verify. It affects any company or self-employed person invoicing with software, including the till of a bar, a shop or a hairdresser.
Will my current POS comply?
If it's up-to-date Sysme, Glop, BDP Net, Factory POS, ETPOS or STEL Order, yes. If it's another program, we check whether the vendor has released a VeriFactu-ready version; if not, we tell you in good time and migrate your items, families and customers to one that complies.
Do I have to replace the POS computer?
Not always. That's why we check the hardware, database and operating system first: many tills handle the new version with a clean-up and an SSD. When it isn't worth it, we propose new hardware with the software already configured.
How long does the adaptation take?
On a POS with up-to-date software, a one- to two-hour visit, usually outside your busiest hours. If the program has to be migrated, we load your data beforehand and the install takes half a day.
What if I issue a receipt wrongly?
It isn't deleted: it's cancelled with a cancellation record or corrected with a corrective invoice chained to the original. We show you how it's done in your program on the day of the adaptation, because it's the habit that's hardest to change.
