The diary, the vouchers and the till stop living in three notebooks.
In a salon taking payment is just the end: before it there's an appointment, an assigned stylist, a voucher a session is deducted from and a client whose last treatment is worth remembering. Tenerife TPV, OK Computer's point-of-sale brand, installs BDP in its version for beauty and hairdressing, which brings together diary, vouchers, client records and till. As an official distributor, it leaves it running with VeriFactu and the Canary IGIC.
Software and payment methods Tenerife TPV installs in salons
What POS does a hair salon or beauty centre need?
A hair salon or beauty centre needs software that joins the appointment diary to the till, and the one Tenerife TPV installs is BDP in its version for beauty and hairdressing. With it, each appointment has its stylist and its service, session vouchers are managed in the program and each client has a record with their history. At the end, the service is paid for on the same screen, along with the shampoo or cream the client takes home.
A generic shop POS takes payments but knows nothing about appointments or vouchers, and that's where a salon loses time and money: voucher sessions nobody noted down, gaps in the diary you can't see, clients asking what colour they had three months ago. Glop, which Tenerife TPV installs in hospitality and shops, isn't designed for this kind of business; BDP does have a version of its own.
Tenerife TPV loads services, rates, retail products and IGIC at its Armeñime workshop in Adeje, installs the kit in half a day and teaches the whole salon team to use the diary. After that it answers questions by phone or by connecting remotely.
What does the software for a hair salon or beauty centre include?
What today is usually scattered between a paper diary, a folder of client cards and the till.
Appointment diary
The day's appointments on screen, with their service and their stylist. You see at a glance who is free and when.
Session vouchers
The voucher is sold once and the program keeps count of the sessions. No more stamp cards.
A record for each client
Their details and their history at the salon, so you can serve them knowing what was done on previous visits.
Product sales
Shampoos, creams and accessories are rung up with a barcode scanner on the same ticket as the service.
Linked card terminal
The amount passes from the program to the card terminal without typing, and the close separates card from cash.
VeriFactu and IGIC
Every ticket with its QR code and its record, and the right IGIC rate on services and on products.
Can clients and vouchers be moved to the new software?
In many cases, yes. If you already use a program or keep your clients in a spreadsheet, Tenerife TPV checks where the data can be extracted from and loads it into BDP before the installation. Anything that exists only on paper is entered as you go, as clients come in.
- We check beforehand what data can be exported from what you use today
- Services, rates and products are loaded before the installation
- Training for the whole team on the same day
- Double backup, on the device and in the cloud, with the maintenance plans

Common questions about the POS for hair salons and beauty centres
What software does Tenerife TPV install in hair salons and beauty centres?
BDP, in its version for beauty and hairdressing, which includes an appointment diary, vouchers and a record for each client as well as the till. Tenerife TPV is the official BDP distributor in Tenerife and installs it on any of the Canary Islands.
Does a small hair salon really need a POS?
At the very least it needs invoicing software that complies with VeriFactu if it issues its tickets from a computer or tablet. From there, having the diary and vouchers in the same program saves time even with two chairs. Tenerife TPV quotes only for what the salon will actually use.
Do services and products carry the same IGIC?
They needn't. The IGIC rate is configured separately for each service and each product, and Tenerife TPV sets it using the details your accountant confirms. With VeriFactu an issued ticket can't be deleted, so it's best to have it right from day one.
When is VeriFactu compulsory for a salon?
From 1 January 2027 if the business is a company and from 1 July 2027 if the owner is self-employed, under the current calendar. BDP already has an adapted version and Tenerife TPV installs it and tests it with your real tickets.
How long does it take to install?
Half a day at the salon, done on your day off or in the hours with fewer appointments. Services, rates and products are loaded beforehand from Adeje.
And if I have two salons?
BDP lets you run several venues from one place: the same services and rates, and each salon's sales as they happen. Tenerife TPV rolls it out salon by salon, without closing either.
Tell us what you sell and how you take payment: we'll tell you which system you need and what it costs.
No two venues are alike: a bar with a terrace, a greengrocer with scales or a chain of five shops need different things. We come and look, suggest only what you'll use and give it to you in writing with hardware, software, installation hours and IGIC. If it suits you better, visit our shop in Armeñime, Adeje.
Tailored, no-obligation quote. We reply Monday to Friday during shop hours. Tenerife TPV is OK Computer's point-of-sale brand (Dalmon Sistemas S.L.).
